My husband and I have been married for 11 years and have navigated some of the highest highs and lowest lows. We are the very proud parents of one tenacious little girl and two babies in the stars. We could never have predicted growing our little family would come with the trials that it has. We have faced our worst day imaginable, twice, and somehow we're still here.

What more is there to say? I love food. I love cooking food, ordering food, eating food, making food for other people. Do I have a favorite? Well, I love pretty much any Indian or Mexican food. I love sushi and pasta, oh and pizza, so some Japanese and Italian. I also love Mediterranean food, comfort food...does that narrow it down at all?

Meet our foster fail, Magenta (pictured left). She is 80 pounds of pure love and cuddles.
We also have a senior and very shy Persian cat, and very young and spry ginger kitten in the mix.
I've loved animals my entire life and would live on a rescue farm surrounded by them if I could.

I may be biased being Virginia born and raised, but I love where I live. Virginia has it all - from the ancient and majestic Blue Ridge Mountains, to the soft pastels of the coast. It produces a heck of a Petit Verdot, and showcases delicious fine dining. Within a span of a few hours you can drive from the hustle and bustle of the city to the peaceful quiet of the country.
